Dear rope family! We are happy to broaden the Estonian shibari scene and give you a chance to learn from the very best here at home, in Köieparadiis! We present you a wonderful and truly fantastic rope and kink educator Sari from Germany!
“4 elements of shibari”

This course is suitable for beginners with basic knowledge as well as experienced riggers*. We delve deep into the four different conceptual and aesthetic concepts Sari uses to compose her bondage. She draws on both historical practices such as Hojojutsu Technique as well as contemporary ideas, and from these she develops original bondages to recreate.
The four elements are Safety, Secrecy, Beauty and Efficiency.
1. Efficiency: Expalining Hayanawa of warriors, go in the history, here we will go through theory and practice our basic tools for the day and for their future ties:

⦁ (What it is and how it works)
⦁ positioning towards bottom
⦁ rope handling
2. Secrecy
Explaining why it was important for warriors with practical examples.
Demo and practise of one or two hojo shapes.
3. Safety
⦁ Risk profiles
⦁ For bottoms: talk about surrender
⦁ Danger zone and typical body reactions
⦁ Body handling practice
4. Beauty
It’s about finding technically and aesthetically pleasing solutions for the body, shapes that tell a story.
„Spread it further“

This workshop is about creating sensual and sexy moods by bending, spreading and exposing your partner with ropes. We will play with strong emotions such as shame.
For some exercises we will include bamboo sticks to spread legs and arms and create hot shapes on the ground and in semi suspensions. This workshop is for beginners and people who look for some more spice in their Shibari.

About Sari
Shibari Sari is one of the most compelling new talents on the international rope scene. Her unusual and challenging performances and sessions left a strong impression at the last EURIX. After years of experience as a rope model she has developed her own style in the last few years, which is characterised by straightforward aesthetics, intense emotion and a strong D/ s dynamic. Her technique is precise, anatomically skilful and perfectly adapted to the particularities of her respective model. Her experience with dance, yoga and various forms of bodywork come to her aid. Her sessions are slow, controlled and insistent. Her handling of male bodies in particular is impressive, and she knows how to stage them in a challenging and sexy way. Sari effortlessly switches from sadistic cruelty to tender attention, captivating both her rope partners and her audience.

Private Session would be possible at 3.5., 6.5. and 7.5.
A private will be 3 hours, we are getting to know each other and having a talk for about 1 hour about safety, expectations, limits and everything that is important for both of us. The session will last for about 1 hour and afterwards will be time to come down together and a talk.
Costs will be 180€, can be cash. If you want, I’d take snapshots with my phone for you to have a memory.
